About Blackdog

Our goal at Blackdog Recording Studios is very clearly defined, and that is to use our ears. We work with the artists to reach their potential audience. The Blackdog Team really listens, and understands each style of music poses unique challenges. We work to match the musical style to the appropriate recording methods, as well as methods we've developed that are unique to Blackdog. Understanding the artist and their sound is vital for the Blackdog team to be able to adequately define, refine, and reproduce each artist's individual sound. The artist is our focus, and the team constantly challenges itself to get that perfect (or imperfect) sound for a particular performance. Within this focus, he have only one rule, and that is that there are no rules, only a creative work process. Our team is committed to promoting our artists to the next level.
